Colabra & GitHub

Align wet-lab and in-silico research teams and bring your code to your experimental notes.

Colabra’s integration with GitHub allows for seamless collaboration between wet lab and computational teams working on the same projects.

By connecting individual experiments with GitHub Pull Requests, teams can centralize all experimental data, connect all related discussions, and automate status updates.

Additionally, the GitHub Actions integration can be used to automate tasks such as running simulations and analyzing data based on events inside and outside of Colabra. This enables wet lab and computational teams to work in parallel, reducing delays and increasing productivity

Features

Your code is more powerful when it's not siloed from your experimental notes.

With Colabra's GitHub integration, you can access your files, issues and technical docs alongside your lab notebook.

Connect

GitHub Pull Request Connector

Connect Pull Requests to individual experiments to easily track progress and automatically update their status.

How to use Manually add a Connection under the experiment summary, or simply mention a Colabra experiment ID (ex. EXP-123) in a Pull Request title, description or comment.

Embed

Just paste in a link to a GitHub Gist to embed it in your project or experiment summary.

How to use Within a Colabra page, paste in a GitHub Gist link and watch the embed appear.

Mention

Stay on top of issues and pull requests with link unfurling. Hovering over the links will show more details, including the status, date created, assignee, and issue description!

How to use After an admin installs the integration, paste a link to a GitHub issue or PR into a Colabra page and watch the issue or PR unfurl.
